This is the big annual boat show for this chapter held at Portage Lakes, near Akron, OH.

The chapter has made it clear all are welcome. The attached poster says any antique (1942 or earlier) or classic (1975 or earlier, all per ACBS rules) boat made of wood, fiberglass or aluminum is welcome. Can't be any clearer than that.

There is a $20 registration fee to enter - judging is optional but available if you want it. There is also an optional awards dinner for $25 a head.

My little Niagara will be there. It will be great fun to talk about old boats all day!

Dave Nau - 1966 MFG Niagara with 1963 Mercury 350 (35hp) outboard and 1966 Tee Nee trailer. Second boat is a 1962 MFG Edinboro with a 1984 Evinrude 70hp and Holsclaw trailer.
