1934 Chris Craft Model 300...I now own a flotilla of five vintage runabouts. I should have used the money for psychiatric analysis.

What puzzles me is you're a highly skilled craftsman that's buying boats that appear to be in excellent condition. Explain the approach....

Boats always look better in photos than they do "in person." All mine need something: new engine, refinishing, trailer replacement or at least tweeking here and there. I then pass them along to someone else, hopefully making a profit or at least covering my costs.
