1905 Launch built by New York Boat builders,28ft,this was ordered by a Michigan Logger in the summer, and a calif attorney in the winter,Ihave all history on the boat.It has a house trailer framed trailer,I have pulled it and it was fine at 70mph.but the rims were ugly, Ijust redid hubs ,bearings, brakes ,tires and wheels. I had custom fenders and a splash shield installed withsteps.I did a rush paint job since I wasn't able to spray,,it goes in the 7th for spray, then it will get water line paint stripe,red/gold. it will get splash shield oinstriped and lettered,we are still polishing brass on the rear shaft and prop.It is powered by a redwing 2 cyl.It has been soakedupand tuned up,the bottom was painted in anti fowl green,,I changed it to copper race paint. Here are a few pictures Bill

Hey Bill, can you add a link to the listing. I went on the Mecum site and didn't find any "boat" link.

OK, got it, tks. No reserve means I can pick it up for a buck if no one else bids.

Auction houses collect a percentage from the seller and a percentage from the buyer which they call a buyer's premium (penalty!). They also charge $100 to register to bid. ($500 if you want the "free" snacks and beverages...Dom Perignon P2 and lobster, I assume.) I'm in the wrong business. Fortunately, I can't even afford the gas to drive to Kissimmee.

Bill: Thinking outside the box...How about if I set up a non-profit corporation for boat preservation, you donate the boat, take the tax deduction, I appoint you Vice President of the corporation and add a codicil to my will, naming you CEO in the event of my death. I'm almost 71. You wouldn't have to wait long to get the boat back.
