can anyone help me on this boat? found in a barn/ shed. all i know is it's a golden arrow i think. vuc160049. gave #1000 for it.

I had a Golden Arrow. I paid $2,600 for mine so I figure you stole yours.
The Chris Craft Essential Guide lists your boat as a Cavalier Division 1964 16' Custom Ski boat. (No reference to Golden Arrow) The upholstery in my boat (below) was original so obviously, yours has been re-done. Anyway, here's a copy of the page:

yes i can tell it was redone,motor runs like a top. can't find anything wrong so far. except trailer is junk. only reason i say golden arrow is the little vent on the bow like yours. guy said his dad got it new and died 6 months ago and he didn't know anything about boats. know more than i did before. guy 75 miles away has what he says is a 1929 chris with a model t motor for 2500. going to look today

A 1929 would have done better with a Model A engine, not a T. Either way, it's not original and that will radically lower the value. Let us know the outcome.
