Has anyone had to redo the lights on their trailer and opted to go with LED lighting?
I am a BIG fan of LED's and I may have to redo my trailers lighting.

I have interior lights on the list of future projects for the Starflite, looking at L.E.D.'s cause they draw a low less current as well as lasting longer and being brighter!

The trailer lights at H.F. look like they will be a perfect replacement for the main left and right lights, however i will need to keep searching for some of the smaller yellow nav lights.

I'm a Harbor Freight fan also. Replaced mine, pretty painless and it is nice to not have to replace a burned out bulb because it got wet. They came with yellow LED marker lights also.
If you do a search on google for "20% harbor Freight", you can print out a discount coupon and save a little cash.

Does anyone have experience with the LED replacements for a normal bulb?

There are some really cool aftermarket taillights. Picked up a set of bobcats for my trailer fenders. They're for a Harley bobtail, the license plate bracket will accept a set of small mudflaps also.

Not sure what brand the top bulb is, but FET Catz lights used to make something very similar to those to replace standard 1157 bulbs. They were great, really put off much more light. (They don't do business in the USA anymore, I don't believe.) The problem is I don't think they would last long if submersed in water. If your tail light housings are sealed, they would probably be fine.

The cat lenses are too cool, Fink! Are the eyes blue dots?

That pic I just plucked off ebay for example. Fishin' for info on any brands. Was thinkin' bout using in all the boat lights. I found this to work very well for sealing those tight spots up.

Not blue dots, the face is about 4" wide. Saw a set with blue dots installed and it didn't look right. Will see what I can do with some blue LEDs save their faces.

A classy lookin' fender tail light, Yamaha I think.

Car*Fin,

I used that LED light for a bow light. It is just fine, and low pwr consumption. I needed to buy the socket as well, since everything was missing on my boat. That bulb is large.
