Getting ready to start the refurbish on a Glastron trailer for my next project, and there is some rust on the inside of the "C" frame channels. I guess most could be tackled with a wire brush on the drill or grinder, but there are some areas behind some gussets that have me concerned.

Has anyone tried any of the "rust encapsulater" treatments on the market? I haven't tried anything since "naval jelly" was the latest gimmick, so it's been quite a while! I know having the trailer media blasted would probably be the best way to go, but I'm searching out alternative (cheaper) ideas......

Mark, I used an Eastwood rust encapsulator some 15 years ago on a camper project. Iron frame and aluminum skin. It worked well. As I recall you had to beware of the fumes, and it looked like the old "red lead". Seems like anything Eastwood sells is top notch.
