TOPIC: '76 Glastron Carlson CVC 18

Hello everyone,

some of you might know me from the CGOA.
My name is Aaron and I'm the president of the European Classic Glastron Chapter.
I used to own a blue/tan CVX 16 until last year. About a year ago I also got myself a new project. A Glastron Carlson CVC 18. Pretty rare boat, there are not many around. Have only seen about 6-7 in the last 10 years. Mine was one of two ever sold in Europe, don't have much history besides the name of the first owner.

I'm in the middle of restoring it at the moment.
Since I needed a boat which was a turn key I bought myself an '83 Intimidator. (Too bad that it's not running, but that's a different story).

Here are a few pics of my boat.
It's not as slick looking as the other Carlsons but it's rare and that's what matters to me.

If anyone on here has more info, details or whatever about my boat - I'd appreciatre a message.

What happened ??? That was supposed to be "ready for action"!

Mark, I have no clue. The engine always dies on me. Thought it was the gas, bought a new fuel pump, took out the tank. Still the same problem. I've been trying to figure it out since I took it out the first time. Next problem ist that it's way too "slow". 50mph is max with the 19" four blade stainless. A 23" made it even slower since the boat wouldn't plain out of the water. Even with the 19" it takes at least 10 seconds. So I don't know who
I am intimidating at the moment besides myself for buying it.
