TOPIC: 72 Crestliner 15' Ski Boat.

Hello people,just bought a 1972 Crestliner 15' ski boat and looking for more info on it. I know it was made in Waterloo Ontario by the Canbar Barrel company.Any more info would be much appreciated.Thanks for your time.

Nice boat, but I love that engine.
73' 65HP. I have the identical engine.
That is the first one I have ever seen with the rear applique intact.
Looks like it was garaged.

Thanks for the reply, I've yet to pick it up,I had my dad look at it for me and said it was in good shape,he said the same thing,looks like it was kept in a garage. I see a few threads on here with which looks like the same boat and they are calling it an GW Invader. You have the same engine.I was informed that the carbs need to be rebuilt.Would you know where to get such carb rebuild kits? Thanks for your time.

I am pretty sure I bought them at my Evinrude dealer.
marineengine.com is another possibility.
Get the factory manual, and take pics before you tear them down.

Mine was a 13 yr. sleeper when I bought it, and another 4 until I got to the engine. (Boat was in rough shape)
