TOPIC: Ouichita

Hey folks, brand new to the forum. I was recently given a 1972 16’ Ouichita fiberglass boat with a motor and trailer. Last on the water in 2018. The floor needs to be replaced and there’s a repair to the bottom of the hull. It came with an 18hp Evinrude. Not sure if that’s enough motor for this boat. My family and I love to fish so if I can get the floor repaired, put some tlc into the boat, go through the motor and get it on the water we’d be real happy. I’m sure many of you know there’s not a whole lot for information on these old boats. I’ve scoured google and not found much. I’ll try to upload some pictures this evening.
