TOPIC: 71 Chris Craft

71 Chris Craft 7 years 3 months ago #134143

I picked up this boat a couple of years ago, and finally registered it the other day. It was wrapped up in an estate so it took a while to clear the paper work on it. I never realized that Chris Craft made boats this small, it's a 17 footer but has quite a wide beam for a boat this size. There doesn't seem to be a lot of information out there on this boat, any would be appreciated. I think it is a fairly heavy boat so it probably rides like a Cadillac, it came with a '73 85hp Mercury on it which should push her along pretty well. I just tried putting a photo up, but it's telling me the image file size is too large so I'll have to take some shots this weekend with a different camera. If anyone else has seen or heard of one of these I'd love to hear about it.

Save your pics on your computer. Open them in Paint. Use the resize function and change the pixel count in the largest number to 1000. You will then be able to upload them here.
