Howdy, I was forced to create this new profile because of no response from the site in resetting the password for my account and no response to emails sent.
Can you please fix/reset my original account " ed-mc " as I was first locked out and then when I attempted a password reset, never received an email with the new password. The email account associated with the original account " ed-mc " is working, receiving new mail every day, and no "lost" mail found in either Junk or Spam folders. If you'd like to contact me via the address associated with this new account, please do so, as I am successfully receiving emails from Fiberglassics at that address. Thanks, ed |

I read this thread and assumed it was getting fixed. Hope so. You have been a lot of help to me and others. I asked the mods about you showing as banned also with no reply.

Thanks for the kind words. It's been a week and I still have heard nothing from the mods. DEAR MODS: Can one of you PLEASE help me with restoring my old account? Far as I know all I need is a password reset, but maybe there's another reason why it was locked in the 1st place. Please note that according to Ken, my "eddymac" email is being rejected by the site. Sorry to hear you're having problems, I was too we just got it fixed this am. I have alerted other mods and site owner that you need help, hopefully we'll hear something back soon might be after the weekend we'll see. I'm on it! |

Ken, I'm successfully logged-in to my original account. Yay!
I guess you'll have to now delete my "ed-mc2" account since I can't update the original account to the working "Juno" email address until the new one is deleted. Thanks for your help, ed |

So this is what I get when I try to update the email address in "preferences":
"Error This email address is already registered." I'm assuming this is indeed a conflict with the "ed-mc2" account, which now needs to be deleted. MODS? Already sent a regular email to Ken. Thanks.......ed |

Ed,
Glad you are now ed-mc again! My guess is that Ken has to do some more diagnosis to fix your remaining issue. I had a somewhat similar issue with my login awhile back, all I know is it took Ken to fix it. At least we have you back, Frankenmerc says you're one of his go-to gurus, and me n Frankendoc go way back. He once loaned me the blue go fast boat, with Dlani inside no less, tossed me the keys and said make her smoke while he was off giving Merc advice on shore haha! Had the ventilator prop on it and from memory around 55mph on gps. Now that's a friend! We politely ran a lot of OPEC through that motor that day. Fun day. |

Bill, thanks for the kind words!
I was able to "cheat" the system by changing the email in the new "ed-mc2" account to another "junk" address I maintain. Then, I went back into my original account and it let me change from the non-working email to my good mail account. So all is well! The mods can leave the new account or delete it as they see fit.
