TOPIC: Problems Seeing Pictures

I'm probably doing something wrong. Sometimes it seems like pictures load just fine. Other times when I'm reading posts I can tell there's supposed to be a picture there by the conversation but I don't see anything. Is there a setting I need to change? I use Firefox for a browser and I use AdBlock Plus but I turned it off for this site. It didn't help. Are there any other settings I should be looking at?

Probably not as a lot of time they mean to ad a pic, but don't, can't, or it won't post.

a really slow connection can do that. My wifi works fine most of the time but ocassionally it is really slow (someone streaming movies maybe?) and pictures just don't load. Check your settings in Firefox. Older versions may have had an option to not load pics on slow connections. The lastest version doesn't have that option

I do have a somewhat slow DSL connection. It could be that. I'll also take a look at Firefox. I think it's the updated version but I'll check.
