TOPIC: Posting Pics to my gallery

Greetings,
I'm most frustrated, for two weeks i have tried to post pictures to my gallery and have not been successful. I resized my photos in both online picture editors and paint as suggested in your forum. I have even tried both Firefox and chrome browsers and achieved the same results. My photos get cropped upon uploading to the site, cutting off the right and left portions of the picture and consequently the boat in the picture. I have tried resizing by by percents as well as by pixels. I have selected preserving the aspect ratio. I just want a photo of my boat in its entirety. Please advise me. I'm not dumb but I sure am feeling like I am at this point.

OK. Skills are improving, managed to post a few reasonable Pics of the 1961 Crownliner Emperor. Took a lot of blind trial and error. I think the main problem was the original photos were of such high resolution that even the much smaller resized images were to large and got cropped. Well that my story anyway. Hope to set up a discussion about the rebuild soon. Its such a cool boat.

Do you have Microsoft office?

Yes, I believe a complete suite, with the exception of Access

I think it's called Microsoft picture and fax viewer.
You can resize, rotate, crop, etc and it's real easy. It's the only thing I use for posting pics.

It depends on what version of Microsoft office you have but if you right click on the thumbnail look for the icon below. That is what you want. After modifying the pic just save it.
