I was just commenting the other day - "if Danny ever posts a Power Cat close to me I'm gonna go take a look"! (Been listening to BillR too much.) Now look what you've done. LOL

Too pricey for me though, and I could not live with the Batman logo either. I'm just sayin'........

Buuutttttt Mark, he says that the Batman logos are vinyl and removable!
You can purchase the Sidewinder XL too on the Glassifieds (we even have the new convertible top for it)!
Besides, you Need some Mercury products.

I hear you Joe, that Sidewinder doesn't look too bad actually. :) (Have to wait and see what the verdict is with the Dr. on Monday though.)

Yeah Mark, it's easy to get comfortable with the ride of a Cat.
My 18C was like driving a sofa across the lake, and my 14T rides infinitely better than any of my other 14' monohulls.

See Bilscars post about how he likes the ride of his South Seas Samoan.

I was at the MIami boat show one year and the wind was howling, rigging banging on masts, people were scrambling for fenders etc.
Amidst all that, there was a couple on a catamaran playing a game of pool on the back deck with one of those little billiard tables. No kidding, mayhem all around them and they are playing billiards. The other boats were rolling at their slips, the cat was just easily going up n down.
I kept one monohull, this one:

Great story about the billiard table Bill, I'll bet that was a sight! I know (the other) Bill loves the ride in the SS Samoan, from what I read anyway. (And what a beautiful and rare example of a true "FiberGlassic" IMHO!)

My GT-150 is FUN and quick, but I do miss the stability of a multi-hull boat. (I know many scoff at tri-hulls, but my V-178 Starflite was a spoiler, I really miss that boat!) I'll just keep my eyes open for something I can afford, if everything goes well at the Doc's next week.

Joe, that O.E. top would be a great addition to that Sidewinder, but you KNOW I'm an outboard guy! I tried "converting" to I/O's and it didn't go well. :P

 Well Mark, you could always remove the Mercruiser unit and plug the hole like Rich did. Then, with the V-4, use a 12" or so set-back jack plate. Maybe even mount swim platforms on either side, it is your money we are spending
Wishing for good news at the doctor!

Best,
Joe
