TOPIC: 1958 Glastron seaflite hardtop

This looks like a really nice Seaflite with a rare hardtop, I wonder what the reserve is set at?

Don't know about the reserve but the buy it now is almost $6k

Sharp boat.Don't care for the grab handles on the roof,but to each their own. IMHO,it might bring close to $6000.

$4,151 not to bad a price for a nice glassic.

I don't get the gab handle thing either. Someone had mounted a bow handle on the top on my 59 Seaflite and of course that is where it was broken. I know the hardtops on the early 60s Glastrons tilted back so I could sort of see the handle idea, but I believe the hardtops on all the 50s boats were fixed.

59 and back glastron were fixed as were 58-60 red fish....60 glastron and late 61 red fish tilted...john

Not a bad price for a rare boat like that IMHO.
