Wonder where the "reserve price" is set on that one!? How far are you from Dinwiddie Ken?

Hey Mark, I am in Dinwiddie. Don't recognize the boat but Lake Chesdin is nearby as well as Kerr (bugs Island) and lake gaston so we have a lot of boats laying around these old farms.

Oh, okay AL thanks! I may give this guy a call tomorrow to see where his head is at on the $$$. I've always thought those old Crosby's were the best of both worlds, glass bottom and wood deck - very classic lines and design IMHO. Probably just a pipe dream, I'll bet that thing goes for way more than I could afford to invest.

I sent a message asking about the title, the auction ends tonight so we'll see if I get a response. I happen to know (from experience) that VA is a "title state" on boats, and GA won't register it here without a title signed over. Also, the payment terms mention a $500 deposit required within 48 hrs., so I have a hunch the reserve is probably more than I could afford to pay?

I really don't have any business taking on another project, but this one just won't quit calling my name!

Auction ended last night at $550, reserve not met. I got a reply on the title, he was going to check the paperwork and get back to me but never heard back with a yes or no. We'll have to watch and see if it pops up again with a lower reserve ?
