Apparently it's not for sale! Especially if they turned down an offer of $950.00 which is about $400.00 more than I would have offered!

Called and the person there got mad because I told her I was not from around there when she asked me where I was from. Told me not to call back and hung up.

That's a really weird deal. She says in the ad she would like to see it go back up to the lake, but if she's insisting on that, she certainly could have made it more clear. Or, because there are so many Craigslist scammers, perhaps she's concerned about an out-of-towner. Either way, I'm guessing she'll be holding onto it for a while.

I've spoke with the lady and she seems to be very emotionally attached to this boat. I'm not sure what the deal is. She talks about her son cruising all around Higgins Lake with it as a boy and then has to go.

Well it took a while but I have finally got the little boat in my possession[at a friends house]finally agreed on a too high number and finally got her to accept money orders,had to wait to make sure they cleared,,10days,which was fine with me ,I wanted her comfortable with it all,,I had to explain my plan,, hang it on a wall with 2 dummies and put a water skier behind,another dummie,,with permission that she can come see it in to years..we will see,, I needed another project,thanks Bill

That must be a heck of a long wall to accompany a regulation ski rope.........
