I know where a very simmilar Thompson is for sale right outside of Cairo Ny. Sadly, I don't think they want to sell it too bad because they do not return calls, and they don't give a crap about the boat because it just sits out in the rain/ now snow.. It sits on a period trailer ( probably orig ) and has a Lark 35hp on the back of it which is also likely original. Was a restored boat but now it needs some work. Transom and rear keel is rotting from holding water

That boat is NOT a Thompson. It looks like a Cruisers, Inc. Holiday model, 1961 or 1962.

This boat has been popping up on craigs list for about a year.

thompsonboat,

It surely doesn't look like any Thompson that I ever seen, for sure.

Wishing that it wasn't 1500 miles away.

It doesn't look like a Thompson because it is not a Thompson. I am 97% sure it is a Cruisers, Inc. Holiday. That firm was a spin-off that came out of Thompson Bros. Boat Mfg. Co.

Yea, I glanced at the pic and closed the page and posted. Looking close, it's not a Thompson.
