Gene - for what it is worth, I will be coming back from Indiana this Sunday passing right through Janesville with and empty trailer hitch (both 1-7/8" and 2"). I also have the same size spare tires...I would drag it up to Wausau for you if it would help. Good luck and just let me know by Thursday night before I leave if I can help.

Did you include your phone number for him to contact you ?
I've found just a reply to craigs without a phone number, most times you won't hear back.
Last thing I picked up on Craigs, after the guy called back, he said he had a whole lot of interest, but I was the first to leave my number, so he called me.

Thanks Dr but it looks like I missed out on this one. I called the guy this morning and he had a guy coming to look, said he would give me a call if it was no sale. No call so far.
I really messed up on this because I hit the reply on the add and it only gave me his Email. This morning I looked again at the add and found at the bottom contact info and there was his phone #. I called but must have ben to late. I will call tomorrow to make sure.

I will be hopeful for you and check back too see. Last year I missed on two rigs that I wanted...I was a day late (literally) on both...and both were "no restoration needed, one owner well taken care of" boats. I hate when I am looking for something and then run across something ELSE that I really want, but am a day or two late on.

Gene - I checked that Craigslist web-link and it appears it is no longer listed. I hope you were the one who got it...if not, sorry about that. Just in case, I will check back here before I go to bed as I leave bright and early the next day for my road-trip. I want to be sure I do not miss my pick-up in Janesville if you still need it.

Oh Darn. thanks for letting me know. since I will still have an empty hitch, I will have to keep my eyes open since you never know just what you might find along the way. I have to get better (quicker) at that craigslist thing if I ever want to get what I am searching for.
