It's tempting Mark. An hour away but no trailer and for the asking price...no deal. $400 tops. Very first family boat back in '55 was a 14' Oconto with a Evinrude 35 big twin.

Cal - it did say "OBO" Also, with patience, and reasonable trailer can be found in our region. And one run up to Tomahawk in the fall or Craigslist to get the right motor, and you have your Boat package...I am sure there are other enablers out there to help out as well...just trying to help the experienced wooden boat people preserve history and pass it along. As a kid, I sure spent a few laps around the lake watching skiers in these wooden vessels (dreaming of skiing and boating when I grew up).

Maybe another enthusiast is interested?

By the Way, I have a 18' long flatbed trailer I could place a cradle on and transport a few hours any direction (I know my trailer has new tires, bearings, and fresh grease, so no problem there). It even has shields on front to protect from road debris.
