Is that an anchor windlass on the bow? Really? Got more circuit breakers than my 27' Owens...

Actually, I get why he did that - it is very difficult to get to the bow on that boat quickly. You have to squirm under the metal "lift" bar in the cabin, or jump up onto the outside and walk around...difficult as you start to get to a "certain age".

That said, definitly a bit overdone on the electronics and he could have devised a better way of doing the windlass. I have my own plan for mine that also involes a windlass, but a vertical one, assumong I ever get enough time to work on her .
