Good eye. I called the guy and had a conversation with him. You were right, as he just put the decals on it. He doesn't know the original manufacture of the boat itself. More than likely you are right again on the 'kit' boat. The gentleman told me he has a real 57' Traveler that will be going up for sale as soon as he gets it cleaned up and he will list it on craigslist.
