Thanks folks. We're all safe, but came close to losing the house. All my kids and grandkids were here for the weekend, so what's important to me is that no one got hurt.

The boat and everything else in that pole barn was a complete loss, but it's all just stuff, and stuff can be replaced. Having said that, I am too old and have too many physical problems to be restoring another basket case vintage boat of any kind. Our backs are such that we're probably just getting out of power boating of any kind. The fire also consumed our 1947 Old Town wood canoe.
