TOPIC: flying scott 75hp outboard motor - cable sourcing

i have found a 75 hp flying scott outboard motor with shifter contorls unit - it will match up to my '62 flying scott 17' boat....but it may not come with all the cables etc to get me going - how big of a deal is this?

universal cables such as 3300 like force-chrysler use for throttle shift, wire harness you will have to build your self

thanks for the reply. your timing is perfect. i am just finishing a kitchen reno and then it is off to the garage to work on mating the motor to boat next week - i hope all goes well - it will be nice to have a match set on the water in the spring. i will look into the cable. i have been able to download alot of info online on the motor thanks again.
