Going to be in Kill Devil Hill next week. If anyone wants to get together let me know.

We were there a few weeks ago for a week at a condo in Kitty Hawk. Traveled down the banks to the ferry to Ocracoke too, took the ferry and had dinner on the island. Great place to go! Enjoy!

Here is a screen shot from my phone using an app called Navionics. The app is free, but it's $9 for charts of all the US waterways.

The house we rented was right on Kitty Hawk Bay, we were on our way back for lunch. 29 knots was about our normal cruising speed at 3000rpm. Much faster and the boat bounced all around.

One day when it was calm we got her up to i think 38 knots.

Found this sand bar on the NE side of Roanoke Island. Notice anything wrong?

Here i am at the dock of the house. You can just see the MFG to my right.

I had 2 people stop me at the ramp to ask about her. One told me about his 70's boston wailer he rebuilt. The other asked if my wife finally got tired of me and left! She was driving the boat and kids back to the house, i was taking the truck back.

Next year, hopefully it'll be the PowerCat we take along.
