just came in from my wood shop 1/2 hour ago, and you guessed it . I ran my left index finger into the band saw. only went in 1/4 inch. soaked the h#ll out of it and it quit bleeding. good thing is i'am right handed. so be carefull guys it happens too fast. frog

REALLY GLAD that you "didn't remove the finger", as a childhood chum of mine DID. - It was "reattached" by a surgeon at Baylor medical center BUT the hand doesn't work WELL.

thanks , satx and bob, the only 2 drawbacks are on wed nite I will be only typing with 1 finger, and I have to use my right finger to pick my nose. lol. ya, it is good that I have reflexes like a cat, lol. it could have been a lot worse. frog

Made me hurt just thinking about your accident Frog, sorry to hear it! Brought to mind the time when I was grinding out the hull on the GT-150 and caught my shin bone with the grinder. Looked down and my blue tyvec suit was turning red, definitely an "Oh Crap" moment! :ohmy:
