TOPIC: Groundhog season just opened

I've got an East German Pellet rifle that could take are of that and you wouldn't get in trouble with a 22. Even has a scope!

My Brother in Law was a great hog hunter. He used a 22-250 and could take one down at 400 yrd with ease. Groundhogs do major crop damage here in Pennsylvania and people with farms welcome them with open arms. He also collected them and gave them to an old lady who loved them. She even cleaned them. He is gone now but not forgotten.

Bob, no problem with a .22 around here. In fact, don't know too many people without one. Also it' not just crop damage. A neighbor has lost 2 horses in the last 3 years due to broken legs.

Damn, now that really sucks!!!! Well as twisted as it is I have a Winchester 22 semi-automatic with a Simmons 7x40 (i think) scope on it. Sighted in for bout 100 yards. Scope was a great deal at a gun show and didn't have anything else to put it on at the time so......
