Hell I can hardly afford to try and restore my boats let alone put out money on something like those.
The are pretty cars.

Both beautiful.
I would have to choose the T-Bird.
390/4V/Cruiseomatic??
My favorite Ford was the 63 Galaxie XL.
I had one in black and white. Bought it from the original owners.
60,000 on the clock. I kept it in a museum. Seriously, it to me was heated storage and they kept it dusted off. It cost $30.00 a month.
I sold it and bought two daughters!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has the 390- 300 hp, goes allright for a heavy car. Remember the swing a way steering wheel ? My friend in high school had a 63 Galaxie xl 406 engine ,3 -2 barrel carbs, that went like a 427 ,I don't see many 406's around anymore??

My dad had an early 60's T-Bird, like yours, 65G3, we dubbed it "The Jet" as we were allowed to drive it. The cockpit really looked like one. I recall it had a 390, automatic. The steering had a quirk: it would "pull" when you got to a certain point. Like you were turning it smoothly, then it would kinda pull hard at that point. We got used to it and knew where that spot was.

Ended up selling to a family friend for $600.
