TOPIC: Went to Johnstown today

Went to Johnstown today 13 years 3 months ago #40053

We went to Johnstown today with the oldest boy and his family. The weather sucked but we had fun. We rode the incline, By the way it is the steepest in the world. You stand on top of that hill and just think of all the pain and suffering happened down there in the Johnstown Flood.

This one is actually the steepest one that can carry a car. It is like a streetcar built to go up a steep hill but with a level floor. Johnstown has steep hills all around it. One car goes up and one comes down at the same time in unison. It's not far from John Gibson's house, maybe 40 minutes.

\"too soon old,too late smart\" my pap

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
