A man who just died is delivered to the mortuary wearing an expensive, expertly tailored black suit. The mortician asks the deceased’s wife how she would like the body dressed. The widow says that she always thought her husband looked his best in gray and that she wants him in a gray suit. “I don’t care what it costs, but please have my husband in a gray suit for the viewing.”
"Well, it's very short notice but I'll try my best," he replied.
The woman returns the next day and to her delight, she finds her husband dressed in a beautiful gray suit which fits him perfectly.
"I'm more than satisfied," she said. "You did an excellent job and I’m very grateful. How much do I owe you?”
"$100 will be fine," he replies.
"Do you mean you bought that suit for just $100?" she asked
"No," he replied. "The $100 is for labor. You see, a deceased gentleman of about your husband's size and weight was brought in shortly after you left yesterday and he was wearing this tailored gray suit. That's when I had an idea. I asked his wife if she thought a black suit might be more appropriate for the funeral and she replied that it made no difference to her as long as he looked nice. So, after she told me that, problem solved and then it was just a matter of switching the heads.”
