TOPIC: Nother new puller

After many years of service, my 86 Bronco is making bad noises and I think it needs a trans or torque converter. Fishing season's here, I don't like sitting beside the road waiting for a tow, so I took the plunge at the Dodge store. Got their last 2014. Has an awful lot of tech gadgets, fun but I wonder how they'll hold up over time. Meanwhile, I'm loving the truck. Also found a way to take my boat and still camp at the lake, since I'm not into pulling doubles. The hemi is giving 15-17 mpg towing my heaviest boat so that's not bad, the Bronco was getting 12 mpg, towing or not.

Gee that looks familiar, different color. I went with the v6 and 2.55 gear. Got 23mpg first tank full, got 22.2 on the last one. Haven't pulled the boat yet though but should be no problem. Needless to say great choice Norm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice ride. You rich guys have it soft. I just bought my "new" 1999 GMC Z71. The 1993 Z71 was at 277,000 miles when I sold it...still running strong. Anyway, this puppy has half the mileage and a fantastic aftermarket stereo with about 50 speakers all over the place. It'll do.
