TOPIC: first pics with the new nikon...........

full sun but seem dark to me........ as i resize down i'm losing clarity. original pic is 4320x3240
the last three are sized to 1080 x810..should i do more?
the poolshots are sized to 934 x 810
thats my 60 aerocraft lummie...dad bought new

i'm going to take some more ..there not as good as my 3 mp canon. i guess i'm doing sumptin wrong...
does downsizing alter clarity and lightness???

Many factors could be coming into play here...where your hosting the pictures, what settings your camera was on, etc.

Im willing to put money on it though, its the software your using to resize or manipulate your pictures.

camera was on automatic and i'm using windows paint to re-size. i guess i shouldn't of purchased a camera so high in megapixels (14.2)if i have to resize to 25%. i thot the more mp the clearer the pic would be.

true.... but we are mashing our pics down for the net, and paint isnt the ideal program to use ...try Infranview you can download a free copy

try a real closeup pic and load it up on this thread even the mashing we give the photos the quality should be evident with a closeup

ron we had some goldfish we let lose in our pond they became 18 inches long double tails,there were 4 that got that big we had them many years.
