TOPIC: 1964 Edinboro Classic

1964 Edinboro Classic 11 years 4 months ago #81913

Just acquired a 1964 Edinboro. Has a 64 evinrude 90s on her and fired up but will not stay for long. Need to check all wiring first and retry.
Here are a few pics.

Hey I got me one of those! Nice find! 90 hp is a good size motor. Will most likely need a transom and if you have a good one the foam in the under floor stringer grid is dry. The corrugated fiberglass stringer system has foam sprayed in to some of the channels which can become water logged. Mine was dry transom was rotted due to poorly sealed engine bolts and the top of the transom has a trim molding but was never sealed so water soaked in from the top. These boats are quiet riding and take chop well, very relaxing boat to be in. I have a 66 Merc 950 on mine also restored.
