TOPIC: 59 Corry Utility ?

Couldn't help myself.... I picked up a Corry utility and trailer for 175 bucks ? This is a blank boat. no seats or nothing, just an empty hull.
I'd like to make it look like a Suburban with the 44" fore deck.

I've always loved the Lyman look and especially the ride .

This boat has the "V" shaped inner wood transom. It also has a center inside hull wood keel, but no stringers on either side.

What year did MFG go from the wood keel to the aluminum keel and stringers ?

Is there supposed to be an outer wood transom ?

Can't take pictures right now because of Thunderstorms here in late December ????

As soon as I load pictures ? The questions will be flying to the MFG experts !
Like how was the fore deck attached ?



What kind of floor deck was in the boat ?
Any info or pics would help.

BTW... Wife doesn't know I bought it..... so don't tell her.

Should I give it to her for her Birthday ?
Which happens to be Christmas Day !
BUT...
Would I run the risk of her re-gifting it to someone else ?

12/28/2015 update.... no pics yet.... still raining here since I picked it up ! The good news ?At least a snow shovel is not required !!!!
How to desipher serial number for the year ? Anybody know ?
