what reasonable...i just picked a unit up wanting to know if i did good or drove 4 hrs for nothing...it does work...

I have a working PTT for the earlier eighties 6 cyc's that I was going to set up for my '63, but am running low on enthusiasm to figure out the conversion requirements.

I might be interested in your '80s trim unit if you decide to abandon that idea, and 'YES' Dave's system would be a slam-dunk to install on the early 1000.
