On purchased a titl trim set up to use on my Mer 500.
I put it on last night....nice can't wait to use on the water....
On the bottom of pump there alum. knob...can someone tell what this is for?
I had to disconect the hoses to install on my boat...i turned this all the way in..no oil leaked out...is it a stop valve?

I believe when you turn it all the way in, you can raise the motor manually. When it's turned all the way out, you can't, only the hydraulics will do it. Try lifting the motor with it all the was in, see if I'm correct.
