I'm not positive,...BUT if your 800 is a FGS model rather than a DR model,...Perhaps the Bay Kit "cap-n billybob" is offering might just work.
I 'think' the primary issue would be the reverse lock cam design conflict.
Joe Poole Jr should be able to determine this issue if he has these parts in hand.

If you'll recall, there's a plastic spacer spool in there that transmits the motion of the brass shift cams to the lockout rod yoke.

I'd think that you could cut that spool in half then make a 5" spacer tube, this would retain the original function of the spool. Might be a bit awkward to assemble, but I imagine you could just put a few wraps of electrical tape on the pieces so they're all tied together, or assemble it with shrink sleeving so it's a cleaner-looking assembly.
