Well after some skilled negotiations I was able to convince my wife that it would be ok to bring home another outboard

Of coarse this means even more added to the honey do list but its worth it.
Its a 1965 merc 500 that runs but needs a new starter. I got a good set of controls with it which now starts with a screw driver instead of a key. The guy also threw in an old minnkota trolling motor that works, for good measure. All for just $200 a good deal in my eyes.

The bonus was this early merc 500 face plate the guy threw in just because. I don't need it but it is cool looking
