TOPIC: Tell me I didn't do it !!!!

After months and months of fazooling around fixing shorts,soldering wires,pulling carbs, installing new control cables, I figured I'd pull off the lower unit and change the water pump.. Well I know if you tap the lower unit with a metal hammer,you could break off a fin ..(I knew that) ! So I used my "Rubber Mallet" to "Tap The lower off ... In a million years ..Guess what happened . I tapped too hard!! and a big piece went flying off ... I still can't believe it !! Well a friend of mine is an excellent welder, and he welded it back on .. You cannot tell where it snapped off !!! So if anybody needs aluminum welded ,he right here in South Jersey , He's a little slow but does great work ..!! He also made my Stainless Steel Transom Plate , and welded in a new floor in my 1963 Thunderbird !!!
