Frog,
It is a solid state ignition.
You have three possible culprits in a no spark situation.
A dead trigger (distributor)
A dead switchbox or
A dead coil.
Have you tested and identified which part is at fault?
I have used ones of all three components.
Please write direct if interested in parts.
If you need assistance testing the components please post and someone will assist.
