TOPIC: 1978 50 hp water leaking

hi i have a 1978 50hp that is leaking water. If you look at the photo the leak is on the right hand side up above where the ground wire is. i'm not seeing any sign of water inside the cowling so i'm thinking it is probably the power head to midsection gasket. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

That wayter is coming from the exhaust housing thru the upper mount.

i pulled the powerhead but i ran out of time to do anything else, it looks pretty clean i didn't see any corrosion, i'll get back to it in the morning. Do you think the exhaust housing could be cracked or just a bad gasket? Thanks

Bad seal around the mount rubber cap at the end etc. 1 914 310 7086
