TOPIC: Downsizing - motors available

I have a few Merc engines available. I have been downsizing my collection of boats for many years. Now it's time to let some engines go.

These are all located in Redding CA near Shasta Lake. Redding is on the I-5 Freeway if you are passing through, on your way to somewhere on the West Coast.

Mk 55 ( Circa 1955 ) Green & Silver paint under white overcoat. This one was painted Cloud White by someone long, long ago. They also gussied it up with some Mk 58A stainless trim. Not running, not stuck, appears to be complete


Mk 55 ( circa 1958 ) Charcoal - all original. A running engine, purchased from original owner. Has original papers, manual, shipping tags.

Merc 650 ( 1963 ) Has original sales receipt from new. Merc paperwork included. Needs tinkering and tune up to be a runner.

Merc 700 FGS ( Circa 1961 / 1962 ) Pulls over with compression. Restoration project. Complete

Merc 850 FGS ( 1962 ) Motor is disassembled. Parts have been stripped and bead blasted. NOS original Mercury parts to restore - Rings, Reeds, water jacket covers, bearings, full gasket set, more

I also have many Merc faceplates - most in excellent shape

Ride Guide steering wheels and helms, rotary and rack.

Would you happen to have a spare face plate for a 1963 650. You are a long way from Ontario, Canada or I would be interested in some of your motors.
