TOPIC: On the hunt for Thumb-screws

On the hunt for Thumb-screws 8 years 7 months ago #120372

I'm looking for a nice set of used thumb-screws for a Mark 25, Mark 30, or Mark 55.
I would like a couple of them with nice black grip areas, and no vise-grip pliers bites on the threads.
If someone has a nice set, and are willing to sell them to me, please be aware that most of the time, the end of the threads at the washer are typically mushroomed out and need to be gently filed down before attempting to unscrew them from the transom clamp.

Just an FYI, mine were chewed up pretty good when i redid my motor. You can plasti-dip (the stuff used on the handles of pliers) them and them come out really nicely.
