TOPIC: Identification and impeller question 58a

Identification and impeller question 58a 8 years 10 months ago #120181

Is my 58a a 40 horsepower? Looking for an impeller the serial number matches the 40 hp.

Where do I find the seal that goes in impeller screw on cover?
Is there any gasket or sealer between the bottom chunk and center chunk?

Only steps away from maiden voyage!

Joe emailed you back. But just in case. Ser # 1241826. Please include all seals and impeller adding seals behind prop. The housing looks very good. Thanks Dave

Does anything go between lower unit where it meets center section?

Hi Dave,
Thank you, I did e-mail you back. No, the gear housing mates metal to metal with the drive shaft housing (no gasket or sealant), if that is your question.

Joe
