TOPIC: 1969 Merc 1000 revived!

Thanks to Dr Frankenmerc and many others who have posted in this forum, I was able to get this old Tower of Power running again after it has sat for the past 15 years!

Sounds good watch the lifting ring if it comes off look out. also watch your water level.

Thanks Dave. It was on muffs so it didn't run dry. I'm not going to run it with the lifting ring on it anymore - took it off the boat so I can get it in order now. Looking forward to getting it all back together!
