My 1958 Redfish Shark Deluxe 11 years 11 months ago #73134

So I just bought a '58 Redfish and I need some info for it's restoration like a starboard transom handle, wiring diagram for the bow light for starters.

Congrats on the Redfish Merlin, and welcome. Those stern handles are fairly common on boats from that era up through the 60's, just keep an eye out on the Glassifieds here, Ebay, etc.. The bow light should have two wires, hot and ground. The ground would normally come back to a "common ground" somewhere under the dash, sometimes using the ignition switch or control box ground. (Better to have a separate ground from the battery, but we have seen it done that way.) The hot wire should go to a switch on the dash for the Nav lights. Many times a three position switch was used, off/anchor/nav & stern light.
