I got a boat. Its a 1966 Aerocraft newport. or at least i thought it was. I bought the catalogue original to the year and the boat and now im starting to think its a starflite because the newport came with swivel bucket seats up front and the starflite came original with the back to back lounger style. fairly certain everything i have with the boat is original to the boat... so which boat do i have?

Welcome aboard 1966. If you post a few pic of the side, transom and bow we should be able to help. If it' the one in your avatar it's kind of hard to tell with pics that small.

Yep definitely a Newport. Look in the Glassic Library under Aero-Craft and look at the '67 brochure. Your bow is blunt nosed and has a step down in it. The Starflite has a pointed bow and no step in it.

Yeah I think the department stores would have different variations depending on price range.
