About a year ago someone offered me a free trailer as long as I took the boat that was sitting on it, so I jumped on the offer. Once I saw the boat I immediately knew it was something that needed to be brought back to life. It will be going off to a soda blaster in the next couple weeks to be completely stripped and then I can make repairs to the seats and dash. It'll need a new transom before I can hang a motor off it, which is fine seeing as I don't have an outboard for it yet. First order of business was a pressure wash, which did wonders for what my wife thought about the boat. Anyway, seeing as I can find almost zero information about these hulls being restored I thought I would share it here. Be patient with me, I have 3 other boats so this is a long haul project.

The second order of business was to fix the trailer so I could safely move the boat around. The leaf springs had broken, and the trailer suspension was just a mess. I'll throw new tires on it and should have a really nice trailer for the cost of the springs and tires. I also put a short shaft, tiller steer 15hp outboard on it for a small sea trial. The boat sat and went great. She will get a 25hp Suzuki once everything else is done. Also, does anyone recognize the symbol in the center of this start/stop/choke panel?
