TOPIC: Late '50's Cutter ID Help

Late '50's Cutter ID Help 8 years 5 months ago #124446

Hi all. I'm Tammy and new here. Just purchased a Cutter to restore. The card says '57, but both the guy I purchased from and my dad say it's a '59. I can't find much info on these. It was described as an Owens. No motor. All hardware is there. The guy I got it from saved it from the burn pile and had it in his yard, upside down for 2 years. I can't wait to get started, but I'm also not exactly sure what I have. Any help would be appreciated! Having a hard time getting the images to download as they are too big. They are on my phone.

Thanks. I did go there and didn't find what I was looking for. I was able to make my boat picture my profile picture for now.

Here is a pic of my 1959 Cutter Jet Deville. Got it less than a month ago and getting ready to install a new transom this week.

The front of the fins look more like an Owens to me.
