Yes, I fretted over that for a while.. Aside from the indentation, the integrity was there...I thought about grinding it out and filling, but I worried about worsening the integrity vs. improving it...so I ended up leaving them alone, replaced the rollers on the trailer with bunk boards as not to worsen. What sucked is that I did repaired the stringers and floor prior to turning the boat over...at which point I noticed the indentations..Had I seen them first, I'd of tried pushing that area out then filling. Perhaps not the right move, but it seems pretty solid. I imagine it creates a bit of a disturbance right there on the hull...which affects performance a bit.

You did a very nice job! Did you do your own windshield replacement? I find it interesting on how there are so many tricks to the trade on getting these restorations done. I find myself improvising on getting things done/installed. Always finding ways to get things put back together!

Thanks! I did not. I tried using 1/4 inch plexi, but couldn't get the radius right to fit...so I contacted Taylormadeand they actually produced one for me...$700 later. Not a perfect fit, but I struggled to find one that fit perfectly. It works.. And overall I am happy with the results... Learned a lot for next time.

Wow! Great work. You sure did go to town with a complete restore of the entire package. I'd love to get some more details....
- how long did the boat (minus the trailer) take?
- are the top and bottom "painted" or "gel coated"? what product did you use?
- did you do the painting or have someone do it?
